These stunning works of art — handmade votive candleholders and drinking glasses — have millions of fans. And not just because Glassybaby donates a percentage of profits to nonprofit organizations across the country. Great wine, fun shopping, beautiful glass-blown art, and all for a good cause.

In Store at The Meadow

The Meadow
The Meadow was founded by Mark Bitterman in 2006 out of a shared love for food, culture, and travel. Mark came back to the United States and opened his first shop on the sleepy (soon to be very bustling) little street of N. Mississippi Ave in Portland, Oregon. It is here that he began to explore craft made salts, gourmet chocolates, handmade cocktail bitters, all of which we carry in our shops today. In 2010, after years of selling salt, chocolate, bitters, and flowers out of his shop front in Portland, Mark wrote a book titled Salted: A Manifesto on the World’s Most Essential Mineral, which was a culmination of his knowledge, experience and expertise with salt. This book won a James Beard award (!!!), which in the food world is a huge honor and a tremendous recognition.

Helioterra is honored to have it’s wines highlighted at The Meadow. Please join Anne for an in-store tasting of her latest releases 2 – 4pm at the NW Portland location.

Celebrating Women’s Month with Bar Muselet

After closing Restaurant Muselet last year, Owner Ron Acierto did not sit idle. He has created Pop-up Bar Muselet experiences at a location called Function PDX in NW Portland. Self described as the biggest cheerleader for Oregon, Ron continues to highlight wines from the region. He will be hosting Anne Hubatch and her Helioterra Wines for Happy Hour on Friday March 16th.

Helioterra teams up with Cellar 503 for Pour Oregon 2018

Once again, Cellar 503 will be hosting Pour Oregon on Sunday, April 29th at Castaway Portland from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  This fun event brings together 40 small and artisanal winemakers from all over Oregon and gives trade and consumers alike the chance to sample otherwise hard to find wines from throughout the region.  Partial proceeds from Pour Oregon go to benefit Make-A-Wish Oregon, a cause we can all raise a glass to!

Helioterra Wines will be teaming up with Cellar 503 as part of Pour Oregon and pouring some great current release wines!  Guests will be able to try winemaker Anne Hubatch’s Oregon Pinot Noirs, Rhone reds and aromatic white wines.  Anne’s wines give people the opportunity to traditionally Old World style wines with a New World twist.  The fruit for Helioterra Wines is grown all over the Willamette Valley of Oregon as well as the Columbia Valley in Eastern Washington and gives people the chance to try her winemaking style with fruit from very differing terriors.  This is sure to be a fun day filled with great wines and we’ll look forward to seeing you there!  For tickets and more information:
