Join Helioterra and several other great wineries from the Willamette Valley as we raise a glass and kick off the IPNC weekend at Counter Culture at Anne Amie Vineyards in Carlton. This year the much anticipated event will take place on July 27th from 6pm to 10pm at Anne Amie and guests will enjoy world class wines and nosh on food from some of Oregon’s best food carts. This event is purely a celebration of urban street food and international wines and you won’t want to miss out!
This year Helioterra will be pouring the 2015 Melon de Bourgogne and the 2014 Mourvédre. The Melon de Bourgogne is a true expression of an Oregon Muscadet as it is refreshingly dry and a perfect blend of crisp and delicately sweet. This wine is a must try if you like wines a little on the zippy side! The Mourvédre on the other hand is a dense and opulent grape that has traditionally been used in blending. This wines offers a rich palate of dark chocolate, blackberry, currant and smoke and rounds out the mouth feel with well developed tannins and great structure. These wines exemplify the careful hand of winemaker Anne Hubatch and we think you’ll enjoy these wines as much as we do!
